Happy Father's Day

Sunday marked Jimmy's second Father's Day as a father. It was a really special day. I let James pick out a couple things for him. He picked out a green shirt that was way too big and a can of compressed air. Jimmy loved them =)

He has become an amazing father over these past 2 years and he just gets better every day. He has taught me so much about patience and keeping a sense of humor. I'm so happy he has shared this journey of parenthood with me. I couldn't have wished for a better father for my children. I love you, Jimmy =*

Vacation #1

So James and I just got back from our first vactaion of the summer. He and I spent a long weekend celebrating the high school graduation of my cousin in Massachusetts. We had a blast! It wasn't quite long enough, but it's nice to leave a trip wanting a little more, rather than leaving tired and grumpy and ready to go home. James was all over the place. My cousins just loved him. His feet never stopped the whole weekend. Friday night was the big party and it was Hawaiian themed. James rocked a lei and a green Hawaiian shirt. Saturday we went to a baseball game. James enjoyed watching the players and running around the whole stadium (thanks, Grandma, for being the chaser). And then, early Sunday morning, we headed back to the airport to head home. James did so much better on the plane than I had anticipated, but I'm pretty glad this was the last time we can get a away with not buying him a seat. Dude needs his space. Unfortunately, Jimmy wasn't able to join us, as he was at a conference in San Francisco, but my parents were a big help to me. It seems I get a little slower as my baby bump grows bigger...and forgetful too-I didn't take a single picture while we were there. Having too much fun I suppose =)
